WHAT IS NOENE?
NOENE® IS AN INNOVATIVE VIBRO-ABSORBENT ELASTOMER
NOENE® is formed by crystalline micro-cells, which are part of the rubber family.
The unique selection and combination of elements through a complex manufacturing process result in this extraordinary performance material.
Specifications and design play a fundamental role in the material’s unique performance capabilities. NOENE® is the only material in the world with the ability to reduce shock and impact vibrations to a significant extent at a thickness of only 1mm (just over 1/32″).
MATERIALS
The NOENE® materials have excellent elasticity and dampening capabilities. Its visco-elasticity gives the product the unparalleled ability to absorb and disperse the negative energy of shocks and vibrations while ergonomically accommodating the athlete.
NOENE® does not change based on the frequency of the impact it receives, ensuring maximum protection even if the material to which it is applied reaches its maximum level of compression due to crushing or deformation.
THE GRAPHS
The DROP TEST graphs show the force that a steel ball transmits at impact.
The results show the absorption of energy of EVA and rubber vs NOENE® in a test that drops a steel ball from equal heights. It’s clear from the graph that NOENE® absorbs nearly all of the shock and impact that the other materials would send back into the body.
NOENE® ABSORBS and DISSIPATES up to 96% of the negative energy generated by shocks and vibrations with a thickness of only 1 or 2 mm.
NOENE® effectiveness has been proven by scientific studies and lab tests at the Biomechanics Institute of Valencia and Politecnico of Milan.

The APMA Program (American Podiatric Medical Association) recognizes products that have been found beneficial to foot health and of significant value when used in a consistently applied program of daily foot care and regular professional treatment.
Dr. Jim Richards of the University of Delaware in a 2013 study found that the impact of landing figure skating jumps, which the U.S. Figure Skating Association has determined to generate an impact force of up to 8 times the skater’s body weight, is reduced by about 43% using a 1mm thickness of NOENE® and by about 63% using a 2mm thickness of NOENE®
